(Senior) Electronic Hardware Design Engineer
Role
In this role, you will contribute across the full hardware lifecycle, from concept and detailed design to validation, integration, and field deployment.
The ideal candidate combines solid RF/microwave design expertise with a system level mindset and enjoys working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver robust, production ready solutions.
Responsibilities
B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electronics, Electrical/Electronics, or Communications Engineering
5+ years of professional experience in hardware design and development
Strong understanding of core electrical engineering principles and system level design considerations
Extensive practical experience in RF and microwave circuit design
Hands on proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools
Experience with high speed interfaces, signal integrity analysis, and PCB layout best practices
Working knowledge of EMC/EMI standards and compliance, including MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, and MIL-STD-461
Comfortable using lab and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and vector network analyzers (VNAs)
Proven ability in prototype assembly, soldering, and hardware debugging
Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork
Fluent in spoken and written English
Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of independently tackling complex technical challenges
Requirements
Design, develop and validate RF, microwave, and embedded hardware subsystems for communication platforms
Lead schematic capture and PCB design activities for mixed-signal systems including high-speed ADC/DAC interfaces, FPGA based architectures, analog and RF circuits
Design and integrate high speed data converter (ADC/DAC) subsystems, including clocking, power integrity, signal integrity, and interface considerations
Collaborate closely with FPGA and digital design engineers to ensure robust integration between high speed converters and programmable logic
Perform circuit modeling, simulation, and performance optimization for RF, analog, and high speed digital paths
Support prototype bring up, hardware debugging, and functional verification at board and system level
Work with cross functional teams including embedded software, digital/FPGA design, RF, and mechanical engineering to achieve end to end system performance
Prepare and maintain technical documentation for design, validation, and test activities
Contribute to system integration, qualification, and field testing
Provide technical support for manufacturing, production test development, and production validation
